For over a decade, Rob has represented and counseled international and domestic insurers in complex insurance and reinsurance coverage matters on a nationwide basis. Rob’s practice focuses on counseling and protecting insurers in connection with claims that arise from complex commercial litigation including class action securities litigation, derivative litigation, employment practices liability litigation, class action ERISA and FLSA litigation, securities/broker dealer liability, insurance agent/broker liability, distressed bank liability, 1031 Exchange Accommodator liability and professional negligence. Rob focuses his practice on professional liability insurance issues with an emphasis on errors and omissions liability, directors and officers liability, trust fiduciary liability, employment practices liability, employment benefits administration liability, lender liability and internet security liability. Rob also counsels and represents insurers in handling first and third party claims under financial institutions bonds and commercial crime policies.
Rob also counsels international insurers on the management of nationwide insurance programs including the handling and defense of claims against, and the insurance afforded to, many different types of professionals. Rob has resolved numerous cases through litigation and mediation throughout the United States and Canada. Rob regularly counsels insurers with claims handling and underwriting issues. Rob also counsels insurers in the drafting of new policy forms and endorsements.
